SPJIMR ranks #1 in India for Careers Service, Alumni Network, Value for Money, and ESG and Net Zero Teaching.
Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) has risen nine places to #26 globally and #2 in India in the Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) 2026 global ranking, up from #35 globally and #3 in India in 2025.
SPJIMR has now featured among the world’s top 50 business schools for the seventh consecutive year. In the 2026 ranking, SPJIMR is the second-highest ranked Indian business school, behind IIM Bangalore and ahead of IIM Ahmedabad. Five Indian business schools feature in the global top 50 this year, compared with four in 2025.
On the improvement in SPJIMR’s global and India standing, Varun Nagaraj, Dean, SPJIMR, stated: “This year’s ranking reflects sustained gains across the metrics that matter most to our participants: career outcomes, alumni engagement, and the value our programme delivers. We remain focused on strengthening every dimension of the participant experience, from placement support to the depth of learning we build into the programme.”
The 2026 ranking also reflects SPJIMR’s performance across several dimensions of student and alumni experience, including career progression, career support, alumni engagement, programme value, and sustainability-focused learning.
The institute also recorded an overall satisfaction score of 9.6 out of 10, reflecting strong participant sentiment towards the programme experience.
Guru Purnima celebration was organised by Bhavan’s Yoga Bharati on July 29, 2026 at the SPJIMR Gyan Auditorium.
Programme Highlights included Bhajan, Nrityanjali—Bharatanatyam performance by Dr. Naresh Pillai, Skit—‘Google Guru vs. Real Guru’, Asana Quiz, Digital Photo Collage Presentation showcasing the journey and activities of Bhavan’s Yoga Bharati over the past several years, Convocation Ceremony for Yogacharya and Yogashastry students, and Talk on the Importance of Guru in Life.
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day celebration was a wonderful blend of entertainment and yoga awareness, attended by 74 guests with a total of 79 registered participants. The event was graced by Chief Guest, Shri Deepak Kotekar, whose presence added significant value to the programme. The highlights of the event included Bharatanatyam performance on Adi Yogi, Vinyasa Yoga, Sitar recital and convocation ceremony. A skit titled ‘Yog Bhagaye Rog’, depicting the benefits of yoga was performed by Sarita Prashant and team. A meditation session was conducted and trophies were distributed to all participants.
On February 15, 2026, Bhavan’s Hon. Secretary Shri Kirtidev G. Munshi performed puja at the Lord Chandreshmaulishvara temple at Bhavan’s Andheri Campus, on the occasion of Mahasivaratri.
The students participated in a photography contest organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, and were selected as lucky winners. As a mark of appreciation, they received a book titled “Stories of Vikramaditya—Betala Panchavimsati”, published by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The following students received the prizes:

Hindi Examination
Seven students from Std. VII achieved Merit, while 2 students from Std. VII and 12 students from Standard VI secured First Class in the Mumbai Pratya Rashtrabhasha Prachar Sabha Prathamik Pariksha, an esteemed Hindi language proficiency examination.
Elocution Competition
Hamza Mohammed Ahmed Sayyed from Std. II bagged a Consolation Prize in the Elocution Competition on the topic ‘Festival’, organised by the Education Department (K West Ward).
National Group Song Competition
In the National Group Song Competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad, the school team secured the Second Prize in the Patriotic Hindi–Sanskrit category and also the Second Prize in the Folk song category. The winners received certificates, and a trophy was awarded to the school.
Superstar’25 Award
The school bagged the Sustainability Superstar’25 award for Outstanding Commitment towards Sustainable Development Goals. This event was organised by gosharpner.com.
A science talent search competition Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition 2024–2025, was organised by the Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association for students across Maharashtra. Zayan Zahid Shaikh from Class 9 and Ovi Sushant Padlekar from Class 6 successfully cleared the examination.
Colouring Competition
Kudos to Vallari Shetye of Class 7 for being awarded a gold medal and certificate at the school level Avantika Cultural Olympiad Colouring Competition 2025, organised by Gurukul School of Art, Mumbai.
