Bhavan's Tripura Vidyamandir was set on the soil of Tripura on 2nd October 1996 by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. It is the product of constant hard work, dedication and lots of good will of Late Regional
Director K.V. Gopal Krishnan and Late Administrator B.C Banerjee.
Some of the special features of this Institution includes individual cottage module for the tiny tots, extension of playground, library facilities, access of computer, well-equipped laboratory etc. it is co-educational, C.B.S.E School with 100% success at the Board Exam.
Besides, individuals attention to the Children, parental care, wise counseling are the principles of this institution. There is Swavalamban institution where women learned stitching and Gandhi institution for teaching computer. Thus it has become a popular institution in the city.
Apart from BTVM, there are 6 other Institutions serving under Kendra.
Bhavan's Kala Kendra which is actively running in the city to promote
different co-curricular activities.
The institution having several mllestones yet to achieve. At present it is one of
the shining stars in the field of education. The institution works with the
mission at making students independent, well behaved and good citizen of our
mother India.

Bhavan's Tripura Vidya Mandir organised a Winter Camp for the students.
Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir organised its annual sports meet and prize-giving ceremony. The most awaited event of the year of the BTVM commenced with the lighting of the sacred torch followed by the hoisting of school and sports flag at the school ground.
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Managing Director of Tripura forest department, Dr Rameshwar Das, Asstt. Inspector General of Police, Krishnendu Chakraborty, Vice President of Tripura Cricket Association, Timir Chanda and Joint Secretary of the TCA, Saraju Chakraborty were present among others in the event.
A series of events were organised including various sports activities, a cultural programme and the opening of Boutique centre and Chef’s Corner which displayed the creative skills of the Bhavanites.
Students and staff of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir celebrated the International
Yoga Day on June 21, 2022.
