Shraddhanjali

Shri S G Rajagopala Prabhu, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kodungallur Kendra left for his heavenly abode on March 21, 2022. He was 89 and is survived by his wife Smt. Vrinda Prabhu, daughters Smt. Nandini, Smt. Gayatri, Smt. Lakshmi, Smt. Urmila and son Shri. Rishikesh Prabhu.
A socially active presence, Shri Prabhu was the founder Director of the erstwhile Lord Krishna Bank Pvt Ltd., Managing partner Hindustan Umbrella Factory, Member of Director Board in Padiyar Memorial Homeo College, Chottanikkara, and Shree Sudheendra Medical Mission, Ernakulam. He was associated with spiritual matters also and rendered his services under Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation Kodungallur as Patron. He made his mark in the social and cultural scenario of Kodungallur.
As the chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kodungallur, Sri. S G Rajagopala Prabhu proved himself to be a real mentor and a great visionary. The Kendra flourished under his charisma, which was marked by visible humility and nonchalant dedication. Under his chairmanship, the Kendra has chronicled huge success and noticeable progress. He was a man of merit who enlightened the team to believe in action and achievement.
The entire Bhavan's family bow in homage to the great soul. May his soul rest in eternal peace.


23rd Annual Day Celebrated

BVB's Vidya Mandir, Kodungallur celebrated its 23rd Annual Day on January 11, 2020. Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Retd.), Govt. of Kerala and Hon. Secretary of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pathanamthitta Kendra Sri. P. I. Sherief Mohammed was the Chief Guest of the function. Prof. P. N. K. Menon, Vice Chairman of Kodungallur Kendra presided over the function. After the inaugural function, students staged various cultural programmes.
