Bhavan, USA was established on October 02, 1981. It’s an International Center to promote and preserve the arts, culture, and heritage of India. It conducts various programs in its own auditorium as well as at other prestigious venues outside. It conducts classes to learn music both vocal and instrumental, language classes for Sanskrit, Hindi, and various dance forms of India. Lectures with dignitaries and joint programs with the Consulate General of India in New York and the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations. Former Prime Ministers Shri Atalbihari Vajpayee, Shri P. V. Narshima Rao, Shri Inder Kumar Gujaral and former President Dr. Abdul Kalam have graced the New York center with their presence.
