NEWS & EVENTS

Bhavanotsav 2023

To celebrate the successful close of the academic session 2022-23 for the students of Ankuran and Aarohan —Classes L.K.G., U.K.G., I and II— Bhavan Vidyalaya  Panchkula organised an academic carnival,  ‘Bhavanotsav— A Festival of Curricular Joys’ in the school premises on March 27 and 28, 2023.
The school campus was transformed into a fun city with interesting and stimulating stalls put up in every corner. The academic stalls gave visitors a peek into students’ joyous journey of learning and showcased their skills and talents through various invigorating academic activities. The funfair also featured tattoo art, face painting, bouncing castles, puppet shows and story-telling sessions, all of which proved to be great crowd pullers. The stalls put up by in-house Zeal company ‘Pamper Your Palate’, served exotic savouries. It was quite a rewarding experience to see the guests spending quality time with their families at all these stalls.
The Academic Carnival—a new age extension of ‘Parent Teacher Meet’—has introduced a unique concept of celebrating the year-long academic and non- academic achievements of the students.
The fiesta ended with the presentation of students’ portfolios and goodies.
The carnival aimed at shifting focus from mere marks to acquiring skills. It not only provided an informal platform for celebrating students’ skills and talents but also fostered a feeling of belongingness between the parents and teachers.
‘Bhavanotsav 2023’ was a grand success and proved a welcome addition to Bhavan’s Academic Calendar.
