Winners of the Literary Week Competitions
|
The Literary Week concluded with three competitions and the highlight of the day was the Bhavan Cambridge Debate 2014 for the senior students. The three day long parliamentary competition was rich with new ideas, intense emotions and strong convictions.
In the inter class English Declamation Competition organised for students of classes VIII and IX, Simmerdeep IX C stood first while Eknoor IX C came second, the third position was shared by Saumya IX A and Sanjay VIII D.
In the Hindi Declamation Competition for students of classes VI and VII, the 1st position was awarded to Samridhi VI C. The 2nd position was won by Ayush VI B while the 3rd position was shared by Vashu VI B and Rishita VII B. The consolation prize went to by Aeshna VII A.
The Bhavan Cambridge Debate had some very interesting sessions. The winners were the following teams.
Position I - Madhav Nayar (XII A), Abhijeet Rawaley (XII A) and Pradipti Dash (XII A)
Position II - Devanshu Dhawan (XI C3), Harshita Nagial (XI A) and Savarni Pant (XI)
Position III - Daksh Kadian (XI A), Tejas Jhamb (XI C3) and Manan Chopra (XI B)
The Best Speaker - Abhijeet Rawaley (XII A)
