The Bhavan, Bangalore Kendra, as a part of its Bhavanotsava 2011 celebration, organised a 11 day workshop of Patchitra. The workshop which started on December 1, 2011, was directed by Rabindranath Sahu of Bhubaneshwar. A National Awardee in the Patachitra style, Shri Sahu had 11 artists to coordinate in the demonstration, which attracted 20 artists from different art schools in the city. The workshop and Exhibition was inaugurated by well known international artist S. G. Vasudev. Shri H. K. Kejriwal, Vice-chairman of the Kendra and well-known art collector opined that art needs to be given its due. Shri H. N. Suresh, Director, welcomed the gathering.
