Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Eroor, who bagged the overall championship at the Bhavan's Cultural Fest, held at Bhavans Vidya Mandir Poochatty.

Bhavan's Thrissur Kendra hosted this year's Bhavan's Cultural Fest at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Poochatty. Along with this event, was the formal launching of the Sarva Dharma Maitri Pratishtan Complex, a mammoth Project which will house a life size marble statue of Swami Vivekananda, Adi Sankara Sarva Dharma Pusthak Bhandar, permanent exhibits of Divine Integrators of all Faiths from the Vedic to Modern age, Architects and Builders of Modern Indian Renaissance, from Raja Rammohan Roy to Acharya Vinobha Bhave, a Sabha Griha with a seating capacity of 500, an Institute of Fine Arts, Bhavan's College of Communication and Management, Athithi Griha (Guest House) and Administrative Offices.
The festival was formally inaugurated by Shri P. C. Chacko, Chairman, Joint Parliamentary Committee and Honourable Member of Parliament, in the presence of Shri P. M. Francis, IAS, District Collector and Chairman of Bhavan, Thrissur Kendra, Shri M. P. Vincent MLA, Shri I. P. Paul, Mayor of Thrissur and Smt. Sajitha Baburaj, President, Nadathara Panchayat.
The Cultural Fest was held from 8-10 November 2012. About 3000 participants representing 32 schools from Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka participated in 93 events (Individual and Group) in 15 Venues. This is the fifth time that Bhavan’s Poochatty is hosting the Cultural Fest, since its inception in 1993.In the Cultural Fest, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Eroor, emerged Overall Champions. Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya, Kakkanad, was Runner –up and Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Poochatty came Third.
At the Valedictory Function held on 10 November 2012, Shri S. Gopinath IG of Police, Thrissur Range, gave away the prizes to the winners. Smt. Sujata Sivakrishnan, Principal of the School, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
