Make reading a habit has always been an endeavour at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. To this end, the school has been organising a variety of interesting and exciting engagements for its students as part of its library engagements. To get students hooked to their books, the Bhavan library organised Be the Book-a refreshing activity for students of classes IX and X.
The first place in the event was won by Anushka, while Dev Sharma stood second. Akshat Chaihan and Adya Mishra won the third place. The consolation prize went to Shivakshi and Samridhi.
It is to be noted that the school has been conducting a continual range of library activities through the course of the lockdown since March. Students have engaged in various competitions including Twisted Tales, Author Reports, Bookmark Making, paperweight making, etc., that have brought them closer to their favourite books, ensuring that online learning does not take away from them their best hobby-reading.
