The teachers of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh brought in the new academic session with a series of Training Workshops held in the school auditorium on the July 5th and 6th, 2019. The sessions aimed at honing their existing skills and keeping them abreast of the conventional trends in the field of education.
Conventional methodologies to make teaching studentcentric, interactive, involving and meaningful was shared. The soft skills required for being a good teacher and how these go hand-in-hand with motivating students were also brought to light. How theatre could be used as an effective tool in the classroom was also demonstrated.
