The students of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh celebrated Teachers' Day on September 5, 2018. Dr. R.K. Saboo, Chairman, Shri P.R. Aggarwal, Hon. Secretary and Shri Madhukar Malhotra, Associate Secretary of the of the Bhavan's Chandigarh Kendra were present at the celebrations. The day was especially significant as Bhavan Vidyalaya had achieved the distinction of being the 'Best School' among all Bhavan schools, and one of its teachers, Smt Geeta Bajaj was awarded the prestigious Bhavan's Jindal Award for the Best Teacher-2017. Shri R.K. Saboo, Chairman of the Kendra congratulated Sr. Principal Smt. Vineeta Arora and her team of teachers and felicitated Smt. Geeta Bajaj. The Chairman of the Kendra presented the teachers with two books : Youth Power and the Power of Ideas by Swami Bhajananda, a propagator of Swami Vivekananda's thoughts and teachings; and Super 303.
