The auspicious festival of Lohri was celebrated with much cheer and excitement at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh. The whole ritual of lighting the bonfire, teachers and students going around the pious fire and chanting 'Sundar Munderye', the distribution of the traditional goodies like rewadis, popcorns, peanuts and gachak - brought about the much needed respite from the cold environs of the classrooms. The mood was full of fun, frolic, laughter and loads of happiness.
