'Sadbhakti' by Dr. Deepti Navaratna

The inaugural of the birth centenary celebrations of M S. Subbulakshmi was celebrated by Bhavan along with the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) with a musical tribute by Dr. Deepti Navaratna, Executive Director, IGNCA, on September 16.
The event assumed special significance with the Chief Guest, Shri H. N. Ananth Kumar, Minister for Chemicals, Fertilizers and Parliamentary Affairs announcing a donation of five crore rupees by the Union Ministry of Culture for the auditorium coming up in memory of MS at the IGNCA premises.
'Sadbhakti', the musical tribute, featured songs of MS in various Indian languages.
