Saksham Bansal, a student of class IX E, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, brought laurels to the school with his stupendous success in Skating at the National Level.
He has bagged several National Awards such as Gold Medal in Rink Race-I and Silver Medal in Rink Race-II. He was recently felicitated by the Governor of Haryana,
Shri Kaptan Singh Solanki at a State Level Function organised by Sports and Youth Affairs Deptt., Haryana, to award National Level Achievers in Sports. Saksham was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 for his achievements in the field of Skating for the year 2012-13. He was also awarded with a cash prize of 5 Lakhs and Rs. 50,000/- in Roller Skating for the year 2014-15.
