Independence Day celebration
|
As a part of Independence Day celebration, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Trichy Kendra, organised a speech "India Today" by Dr. K. Bhuvaneswari BA, MA, MPL, PHD, Department of Tamil, Smt. Indra Gandhi College, at Srirangam Girls High School.
She highlighted the role of women in independence struggle and insisted that students can build a powerful India with confidence, guidance of Teacher and the experience of elders. Smt. Meenalochani, H.M. of the school, honoured the Chief Guest. Around 400 students were present.
Shri J. T. Chari, Director-projects, Bhavan, Trichy Kendra distributed prizes to the winners.
