Students of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Poochatty joined hands to generously contribute several useful items for the tribals including 308 detergent soaps, 418 saris, 400 toilet soaps, 238 Bath towels, 305 new undergarments, 350 combs, 200 tooth brushes, 36 bottles of Dettol, essential medicines, cotton rolls, bedding-mats, 10 kg dal, 10 kg green gram, and stationery for promoting literacy. Cash to the tune of 32,000/- was contributed by students of classes XI and XII to The Vivekananda Medical Mission Hospital, in Wayanad which renders yeoman's service in treating the tribals. Students and teachers personally distributed this among the tribals.
