Media Seminar on Social Media
|
Leading media persons and students of Bhavan's College Communication and Management, Thiruvananthapuram Kendra, held a seminar on October 26 to discuss the impact of social media.
Dr. V. Unnikrishnan Nayar, Vice-chairman of Bhavan’s Thiruvananthapuram Kendra, inaugurated it and Secretary Prof. C. Mohana Kumar presided over it. Baiju Chandran, director Doordarshan programmes, Ajith Venniyoor, author and faculty, and Marliva Varghese Paul, chief of bureau of Karma News led the theme. The participants said that New Media is a boon but its abuse is a bane and ought to be reined in.
