Students of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Kolaikkad displaying their trophies in Athletics.

In the Amateur Athletic meet conducted at Muttikkulangara Palakkad on September 24, 2011, the pupils of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Kolaikkad of Bhavan's Puthucode Kendra won several laurels.
Master, Vaishnav V. won the First Prize with a gold medal in Long Jump in the below 10 years category (Boys).
Miss Bhagya V. won the First Prize with a gold medal in Long Jump in the below 10 years category (Girls).
Miss Anjal J. Sankar won the First Prize with a gold medal in the 200 mtr running race in the below 10 years category (girls).
Master Shinod S. won the Second Prize with a silver medal in the 100mtr running race in the below 10 years category (boys).
The school has also retained 1st position in the March Past for the 3rd Consecutive Year.
In the field of Academics, Miss Sivalakshmy S. of class VII, participated in the All Kerala SIP Abacus Competition (Mental Arithmetic Calculation) and came 1st runner up at the state level.
