Good heath is the fundamental requirement for ascertaining the purpose of life.
The regular Yoga practice sessions for different segments of society.
Monday to Friday for 1 hour daily, morning & evening batch.
Saturday Class will be the highlighted feature, where invited experts from the field of Anatomy & Physiology, Diet & Nutrition, Yoga Therapy, Yoga Counselling & Yoga Philosophy, will talk to the participants.

Yoga is widely propagated today as lifestyle, health and wellness interventions. Short-term and long-term Courses are designed to create awareness about the quality life through yoga, the yoga principles on which the individual can base their goals and ideals. Yoga as education or education in personal development is the emerging area of self-knowledge and the development of holistic wellbeing.

  • Personal Development Course
    • The personal development course is a 12 hours programme for College Students.
    • “What is the multidimensional concept of Yoga & it's Practices”.
    • How to enhance Personal skills and integrate positive attitude through Yoga
    • Tips for Yoga as a way of life.
    • Duration: 1 month.
    • Thrice a week, classes in the morning OR evening, of one hour session.
  • Pranayama Workshop

    The speciality of Yoga is to understand the relationship between mind & breath. This workshop is specially designed for the teaching & administrative staff of Bhavans Campus, Andheri (W). Prana means vital energy that sustains life and ayama means regulation and expansion of the energy principle.
    The workshop includes:

    • Physiology of breathing, different methods of regulating prana.
    • Different types of pranayama.
    • Asana with rhythmic breathing. Advanced Pranayama techniques.

    By joining this workshop:

    • One gets hands on experience that will motivate to practice Pranayama every day.
    • Pranayama brings tranquillity & relaxation; this helps in reducing stress levels.

  • Foundation Teacher’s Training Course

    Foundation Course Description:
    Foundation Yoga Teacher’s Training Course is a beginners Course.

    The course includes:
    • Ideology, study of Yoga philosophy, bite sized wisdom will bring forth the essence of Yoga Philosophy.
    • The study of applied physiology, Yoga counselling, Trigunas & Chitta, diet and nutrition.
    • Practice of Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Mudras and different types of Dhyana.
    • Yoga counselling and attitude training.
    • Additional lectures on application of yoga for holistic health & on yoga masters or thinkers.

    Assessments:

    • Presentation of lesson plans
    • Class and home assignment & Project work.
    • Evaluation: Objective type exam (theory), practical (demonstration) & lesson presentation.
    • Public speaking
    • Duration 6 months. 200 hours, classes twice a week. Eligibility HSC.
    • Two weeks for course work, field work & assessment.
    • Eligible for conducting Yoga classes for general public, once you complete this course.
  • Intensive Online Yoga Teacher’s Training Course.
    • Duration one month (200 hours)
    • Classes Monday to Saturday, 9am – 12 pm

    The course includes:

    • Ideology, study of Yoga philosophy, bite sized wisdom will bring forth the essence of Yoga Philosophy.

  • Advance Teacher’s Training Course

    The course includes

    • The Study of SAMKHYA system, with special reference to notion of pain, theories of evolution & Gunas & the 8 traits of Buddhi, the Bhavas
    • The Bhavana’s of the Yoga system of Patanjali.
    • Concept learning and teaching.
    • Methodology of research and scope of research writing.

    Duration 1 Year. 400 hours, classes twice a week for 3 hours per day.
    Eligibility Yoga Teacher.

    Assessments :

    • Written & Practical exam.
    • Lesson presentation on Samkhya Bhavas.
    • Assignment on the Yoga Bhavana & Viva.
    The Research work assigned to the students at the end of the course is an attempt to do deeper study and increase the understanding of the subject matter.
    Study material, Names of Reference Books & Library facilities will be provided.

    Bhavans Colleges & Wadia School

    • Yoga is popularly understood as physical training and breath regulation. The internally directed focus on attitudes is the need of the hour today. It promotes the dynamic living perspectives and application of values in real life situation. The negative influence of Present-day materialism and consumerism can be balanced with the teaching of yoga values.
    • The short term courses in value education of 16 or 32 hours are introduced in various institutions like Engineering College, Institute of Technology & regular yoga classes are conducted in S.P Jain Institute of management. This course imparts to the students the rich knowledge and skills of yoga philosophy and yoga practices.
    • The central teaching of the yoga value education course is the study of ethical principles namely Yama & Niyama. They form the foundation of life skills & competencies like, self awareness, teamwork and communication skills.
    • Regular Yoga classes are conducted in A. H. Wadia School for primary & Secondary students
