The first Wednesday of every month is celebrated as Cyber Jagrookta Diwas. On December 7, 2022, the IT department conducted many activities like paper flower making, poster making, tricolour kite making. Students participated in a cyber-safety session. They also designed a cyber-safety brochure.

BVB Mehta Vidyalaya celebrated the Annual Athletic Meet on December 1 and 2, 2022 amidst a lot of fun and frolic. The event included races in categories of 100 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, long jump, shot put and 4x100 m relay for both boys and girls in all three categories—sub-junior, junior and senior. The competitors participated with great enthusiasm in the track and field events.

On November 11, 2022, Ebnay Razi (XI), and Anisha Ahuja (X) bagged second position in the boys and girls category in the district level (Zone 26, 27, 28) Kala Utsav solo traditional folk dance competition under Samagra Shiksha, held at Swami Dayanand Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya.

Science week celebration and science exhibition were held at Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya from November 8–11, 2022. The theme for science week and exhibition was ‘Technology and Toys’ with the aim to motivate students to gain hands-on experience in the field of science.
Several events as per the guidelines of DoE, such as science poster presentation, slogan writing, science-toon, science quiz, debate, etc., were conducted for students from classes III to XII. Students also prepared several toy-based models and performed ‘Fun with Science’ activities on the science exhibition day.

Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya has taken its first step in introducing ‘Bagless Days Project’. This project was introduced for classes VII and VIII from October 31 to November 4, 2022. The programme was so well planned that it involved each and every student to take a fun course and hands on experience of various activities like story-telling, carpentry, herbal gardening, western dance, culinary art, robotics, coding, indigenous sports, pottery, first aid training, personality development, yoga and meditation, art and craft and so on.
Students thoroughly enjoyed participating in the numerous activities of Bagless Days, and they longed to relive those five days.

Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya has been selected as the pilot school for the project AI for ALL launched by honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and an initiative by CBSE, Ministry of Education and Intel India. It aims to demystify AI for people from all walks of life. AI for all is a no-cost, online, self-paced, micro learning programme. It has two modules—AI Aware and AI Appreciate.
1. AI Aware introduces the participant to AI and helps them to realise that AI mimics human intelligence.
2. AI Appreciate helps to understand the possibilities, concerns, and the principles of responsible AI and AI ethics.
In BVBMV all students from classes IV–XII and teachers completed the course from November 15 to 22, 2022.

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts and Nivesh organised the 6th edition of Ghummakkad Narain Kathakar—International Storytellers Festival from November 25-28, 2022. The event was attended by the students of classes 8 and 9 of Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya on November 28, 2022. Like always, the festival showcased national and international storytellers from different regions of the world. Stories from history, epics, social themes, folk tales, and tales from animal kingdoms were narrated to the audience.

Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya conducted a special assembly on November 17, 2022 to honour the Vice School Appointments and Vice House Captains of the school. The students were honoured with badges.

Kalanaipunya is a skill development club of the school. It aims at developing the skills of students so that they can produce marketable products out of recyclable material to promote sustainability. On November 17, 2022, the students’ team was honoured with badges.

Bhavan’s Mehta Vidyalaya celebrated its 64th Annual Day on October 21, 2022 with great fanfare. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri. Himanshu Gupta, IAS, Director (Education), Directorate of Education, Govt. of NCT Delhi and the Guest of Honour was Shri Virender Singh Meena, Deputy Director of Education, Zone 26.
The school magazine ‘Bhavidya’ featuring the students’ creative expressions along with features on their curricular and co-curricular activities was released by the Chief Guest.
Special invitees, Alumni Batch of 1971-72 were felicitated by the Chief Guest for completing 50 years of graduation from the school.
Saraswati Samman instituted by the Bhavanites Association was conferred upon three teachers for completing 25 years of dedicated service in the institution.
School Topper and Subject Topper Awards, Proficiency Prizes and other coveted cash prizes were awarded to the meritorious students.
The cultural programme, a ballet called Gyanamritum, conceptualised by Dr. C. K. Bhardwaj and Shri Rajan Chawla, depicted the spiritual journey from ignorance to enlightenment and showcased many aspects of our Indian sanskriti.
