Elocution Competition
Hamza Mohammed Ahmed Sayyed from Std. II bagged a Consolation Prize in the Elocution Competition on the topic ‘Festival’, organised by the Education Department (K West Ward).
National Group Song Competition

In the National Group Song Competition organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad, the school team secured the Second Prize in the Patriotic Hindi–Sanskrit category and also the Second Prize in the Folk song category. The winners received certificates, and a trophy was awarded to the school.
Superstar’25 Award

A science talent search competition Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition 2024–2025, was organised by the Greater Bombay Science Teachers’ Association for students across Maharashtra. Zayan Zahid Shaikh from Class 9 and Ovi Sushant Padlekar from Class 6 successfully cleared the examination.
Colouring Competition
Kudos to Vallari Shetye of Class 7 for being awarded a gold medal and certificate at the school level Avantika Cultural Olympiad Colouring Competition 2025, organised by Gurukul School of Art, Mumbai.

* K. P. West Ward level, Science Exhibition and Sahashaleya competitions:
At the Inter-school Science Exhibition and Sahashaleya competitions organised by the Education Department for K/P West Ward schools, the school bagged 13 prizes across both events. The list of achievers is as follows:
* At the Aagaaz Fest 2024, organised by K. H. M. W. Junior College of Science & Commerce, the school won the ‘Best School Trophy’ for bagging maximum prizes in various events.
* Students from Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Sections participated in the Chinmaya Geeta Fest 2024 on the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, organised by Chinmaya Mission Mumbai. Out of the 36 participants, 13 students won prizes. The school was awarded the Best School Trophy in the competition.
* The students shone at the XXI Mumbai Inter-school Sports Kudo Tournament, organised by Nippo Budo Sogo International India, clinching 6 Gold, 9 Silver, and 23 Bronze Medals in the kicks and squats categories, earning an impressive Third Place overall. Additionally, Mast. Abdul Ahad Chaudhary of Class 4 won a cycle in the lucky draw contest.
Achievements in Sports:
International Level
* Mast. Swarup Pandekar represented India in two events, the first one was 2nd Lathi South Asian Championship Goa 2024, where he bagged Gold Medal in Ekam Lathi DVE Lathi Individual Event, in the ‘U-8’ category.
* The second event was South Asian Open Karate Championship Goa, organised by Shotokan & Shito-Ryu Karate Do Federation of India, where he won a Bronze Medal in Kata and Kumite Event, under the category of Colour Belt.
National Level
* Ms. Sanskriti Khambadkar, participated in National Field Outdoor Archery Championship 2024 organised by Field Archery Association of India and won 1st place in Bamboo Wooden category.
Sanskriti also bagged 1st place in 5th National Field-Archery Online E-Championship 2024 in Bamboo Wooden Bow style, under 14 Girls Age category which was organised by Field Archery Association of India.
At the 15th National Field Indoor Archery Championship held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Sanskriti won 2 Gold medals in U-17 recurve girls category.
* Ms. Aradhya Chodankar secured 2nd place in the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Grade 4 Balance Beam event at the Infinity-Leap Invitational Competition, organised by Infinity Gymnastics LLP Club in Pune.
State Level
* Mast. Swarup Sugriv Pednekar from Class 3 bagged Gold Medal in Decorative Stick Rotation and Silver medal in Stick Fight, Moreover, his team stood at the 4th position for Team Championship Trophy, organised by 21stState Level Silambam Selection Championship 2024-25.
Achievements of Teachers
* Principal Mrs. Uma Arora has been bestowed with the ‘Best Principal Award 2024’ by Mr. Ravindra Dutta Ram Waikar, member of Parliament-Lok Sabha, in recognition of outstanding leadership, dedication and commitment to excellence in education. She was selected amongst the heads of 700 participating schools in the North West Lok Sabha Constituency, Mumbai.
* SCERT Pune organised the Qualitative Video Making Competition for teachers in different categories in Maharashtra state, where the following teachers made their mark:

* Mrs. Lassica Lopes bagged 1st Prize in subject English at Taluka Level.
* Mrs. Leona Colaco bagged 2nd Prize in subject Maths at Taluka level.

* Mrs. Sneha Chavan bagged 1st Prize in subject Science at the Ward Level and she also bagged 2nd Prize at District Level.
* Mrs. Priyanka Pawar, support staff won the 1st Prize in the Inter-School Free-hand Rangoli Design Competition organised by the Education Department, K/West Ward.

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai recorded the highest ever ranking (#1 private B-school in the country, and #4 in the country behind IIM-A, B, and C) in the MBA Universe- ranking that was released recently. This is an influential ranking that all prospective students look at.
Key highlights from this year's rankings (as quoted on the official site):
1. IIM Bangalore is Ranked #1 B-school in India. It continues to hold on to its leadership position from last year when it had secured the #1 Rank for the first time in the 2022 survey.
2. Triple accredited IIM Calcutta has moved up the rankings to claim #2 rank, while pushing the much-celebrated IIM Ahmedabad to #3 rank as per MBAUniverse.com Rankings 2023.
3. A breaking news from the survey is that SPJIMR Mumbai has unseated IIM Lucknow to claim #4 position. For starters, its career outcomes data go ahead of XLRI, and all IIMs except ABC.

Bhavan's SPJIMR has been recognised as a 'pioneering school' with the highest 'Level 5' rating for its social impact and sustainability achievements. The recognition was announced in the 2021 edition of the Positive Impact Rating, or PIR, which was launched on June 17, 2021 at the United Nations PRME Global Forum. The PIR is a student-led ranking that reflects the positive social impact of the school as seen and evaluated by its students.
SPJIMR emerged as one of three business schools from India to feature in the rating. It is also the only school in the FT rankings to sit at the top of the recognition scale that moves up from 'progressing schools' (Level 3), to 'transforming schools' (Level 4) and 'pioneering schools' (Level 5) at the highest level. 'Pioneering schools' were described as those with "unique, sustaining global leadership progress in all impact dimensions."
SPJIMR was recognised for its innovative community-based actions, environmental and socially responsible culture and governance, and a strong teaching focus on responsible leadership.
The recognition for SPJIMR came on a global platform that saw participation from 47 schools located in four continents and 21 countries.
The PIR report said, "SPJIMR has mapped the recent work across the SDGs, showing community impact in water and sanitation, health, environment, energy alternatives, disaster management, food, agriculture, empowerment, education, and social entrepreneurship."
The report also named the 'Abhyudaya' initiative through which participants mentor underprivileged school children, the 'Ehsaas' platform for social sector organisations to showcase and sell their products and the sports and culture event named 'Aasra' that has participation from the differently abled.
