Hyderabad Kendra
Hyderabad Kendra arranged a lecture on health awareness by doctors from Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital And Research Institute, Hyderabad, on June 18, 2022 in Bhavan’s Rajaji Sabhagruha. Principals and staff members of all the four Bhavan’s Schools in Hyderabad and all staff members of Hyderabad Kendra attended the programme.
Shri. S. Gopalakrishnan, Vice Chairman, inaugurated the session by lighting the lamp. Dr. K. Kalpana Ragunath, Associate Director of Academics, Add Life and Cancer Screening Programmes, spoke on the occasion about various types of cancers, symptoms and how to prevent the disease.
Dr. C. Sumati, HOD, Naturopathy & Yoga Add Life also spoke on the management of day-to-day ailments and developing a healthy lifestyle through yoga and naturopathy.

Hyderabad Kendra celebrated the 8th International Day of Yoga for the well-being of Kendra Staff on June 21, 2022 in Kendra premises. A lecture-cum-demonstration session was conducted by Shri. S. Virupaksheswara Rao, a yoga therapist and founder of Mana Yoga in Hyderabad.

1. Medini Mudraboina, student of Class 10 secured 2nd rank across Telangana and International Rank 123 at the Maths Olympiad organised by UIM (Unified International Mathematics Olympiad).
2. Yogashrita, student of UKG received a special recognition from India Book of Records for her performance in the Record Breaking Competition on Indian Rivers where she answered 33 questions related to the Indian rivers in 1 min at the age of 4 years.

The 143rd birth anniversary of C. Rajagopalachari was celebrated virtually by all the Bhavan's Schools of Hyderabad on December 10, 2021. The gathering was attended by Shri S. Gopalakrishnan, vice chairman, Hyderabad Kendra, C Rama Devi, director (Academics), principals of all Bhavan's Schools, teachers and students.
The pre-recorded cultural programme began with the rendition of 'Bhaja Govindam' which was a favourite bhajan of Rajaji. It was followed by the narration of stories by the students from Rajaji's books such as Stories for the Innocent, The Mangala Sutra, The Wish of the Coconut Tree, The Milk Ocean and The Tree Speaks.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Hyderabad Kendra, organised a workshop on 'Collaborative Learning Strategies' to enhance professional enrichment for the Middle School teachers of all the four Bhavan's Schools in Hyderabad, on December 18, 2021 at the Kendra premises. Smt. Shalini, an experienced teacher trainer and resource person, conducted the workshop for teachers.
Smt. Shalini introduced the teachers to different tools of collaborative learning by involving them with different activities, inspiring videos, case studies, etc. She concluded the workshop by highlighting the 'survival skills'.

Bhavan's Vidyashram at NIRD Campus received the GREEN SCHOOL INITIATIVES AWARD from the Centre for Educational Development Foundation registered under MSME (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (Govt. of India) in its EDU Excellence Summit 2021 organised at Bangalore on December 26, 2021. The Award Certificate and the Memento were received by Sri B. Ravi Kiran, Principal.

The 134th Birth Anniversary of Kulapati K. M. Munshiji was celebrated by all the four Bhavan's Schools in Hyderabad on December 30, 2021 in the auditorium of Hyderabad Kendra.
Innovative exhibits of maths and science which have already been recognised and appreciated at the national level were displayed by the schools in the foyer of the auditorium. The cultural activities included, inter-alia, songs on Munshiji, recitation of Bhagavad Gita slokas, dance depicting the 'Vanamahotsava' theme, and a quiz on the life and literary works of Munshiji.

On the occasion of the Birthday celebrations of Shri K. M. Munshi at Hyderabad Kendra on December 30, 2021, Bhavan's NIRD students sang a prayer song and the Sanskrit song "Uttishtha Uttishtha Kranthitaranga" written by Smt. D. Suhasini, TGT and composed by Shri Shaik Khaja Imdad, music teacher. Various competitions were conducted to bring out the talents of the students of the four Bhavans schools.

Madiha Fatima, UKG student of Bhavan's Vidyashram, NIRD bagged the Silver medal in the Inline Rink Race-V at district level organised by Roller Skating Association of Telangana and was chosen as Standby for the State level competition.
