Department of post organised TRIPEX- 2025 under which various competitions were held like quiz, letter writing, painting, letter box painting. Debate and Speech Competition

On Teacher’s day, the Lions Club organised a debate and speech competition. In this competition student Hrittika Bhattacharya of Class 9 received a certificate of participation in speech competition and Ritesh Guha Roy of Class 11 became the champion in debate competition.
10th Olympiad

Largest school level Olympiad in the state of Tripura completed its 10th Olympiad exam with grand success in five centres—Narsinghar, Khowai, Udaipur, Ranirbazar and Anandanagar. 10000 students and 48 schools participated.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2025

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir successfully organised the Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign. Among all the activities there were Tiranga Display by tiny tots, Notice Board Decoration, Door-to-Door Tiranga drives, letter writing campaigns to show gratitude towards soldiers and police personnel.

Bangiya Sangeet Parisad

Principal of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir graced the Convocation Ceremony of Bangiya Sangeet Parisad as inaugurator. In her inaugural address she focused on the importance of art and culture in cultivating good humans and valued citizens of the nation and handed over prizes and certificates.
Awareness Programme on Mental Health

The Rotary Club of Agartala and the Rotary Club of Teliamura conducted an awareness programme on Mental Health for the students of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir. The seminar was followed by an interactive session with renowned doctors and professors along with a quiz competition.

The Bhavan's Tripura Teacher training College successfully organised a two-day national workshop on Pedagogical Approaches and Innovative Teaching-Learning Strategies and Practices from March 5 to 6, 2025 at BTTTC Multipurpose Hall. The workshop aimed to provide a platform for professionals, teachers, and student-teachers to engage in knowledge exchange, discussions, and hands-on training on the methodology and process of how teachers approach teaching and learning.
The inaugural session included keynote speeches from the resource person Prof. (Dr.) R K Mahto, Dept. of Education, Assam University, the Chief Guest Prof Arunoday Saha, Former Vice Chancellor of Tripura University and the president of the programme Shri Debashis Chakraborty, Chairman, Bhavan's Agartala Kendra. The workshop featured technical sessions, group activities, and hands-on training workshops. On the second day, Dr. Nibas Chandra Shil, Principal In-charge, College of Teacher Education, Kumarghat Tripura was the resource speaker. The two-day national workshop was a resounding success, with active participation from 290 attendees.

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir, hosted its yearly prize distribution ceremony with enthusiasm and grandeur across both its morning and noon shifts. The event celebrated students’ achievements in various
inter-house co-curricular activities, acknowledging their dedication and hard work. The much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony honoured the students for their outstanding performances.
The event also featured mesmerising cultural performances, adding a festive touch to the celebrations.
NSS Special Camp

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Bhavan’s Tripura Teacher Training College organised a Special Camp from February 10-14, 2025 at the college campus. The camp aimed to instil the spirit of service and social responsibility among the student-teachers through various activities focused on community development, health, education, and environmental sustainability. A voluntary blood donation camp was conducted with the assistance of the medical team from Tripura Medical College. In this camp 18 people including teachers, students, alumni and others donated blood. A tree plantation was also carried out in the backyard of the campus.

Ritesh Guha Roy, a Class 10 student of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir, Narsingarh, Agartala, brought pride to his school and state by securing the first position in the prestigious National Painting Competition on Energy Conservation. Organised by NEEPCO, the event showcased the creativity of young minds from across India.
The competition, held at the national level, saw participation from thousands of students, with Ritesh’s artwork standing out for its exceptional creativity and compelling message on energy conservation.
Ritesh was felicitated by the Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, during a grand ceremony. He received a Certificate of Merit, a Gold Medal, a Laptop, and a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000.
“This recognition is a testament to the immense talent and awareness among our youth about critical issues like energy conservation,” said the Vice President while presenting the awards.
Expressing his gratitude, Ritesh said, “I am thrilled and humbled to receive this honour. My artwork was inspired by the urgent need to save energy and protect our environment. I hope this achievement encourages others to take small steps toward sustainability.”

Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir organised the 15th All India Conference for Bhavan’s Principals of its secondary and senior secondary schools, with the aim of fostering collaboration and excellence. Eighty-five principals and other dignitaries attended the conference from December 2–5, 2024. The theme of the 15th All India Bhavan’s Principals’ Conference was ‘Leaders leading with vision’. In the inauguration ceremony, the chief guest, Honourable Governor of Tripura, Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu spoke motivating words to inspire and encourage the eminent personalities towards greater achievements. The event also honoured stalwarts for their contributions. Ratna Saha, Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sulochana Natu Vidya Mandir, Pune and Sreeja Unnikrishnan, Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan School, Kozhikode, Kerala were felicitated for their years of service.
