Aaruni Choudhary of Class 12 stood 3rd in ‘Capture the Moon’ Astro Photography Competition which was a part of Chandrayan Utsav, an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India.


Hriday Bhojwani won a Bronze Medal in 50m Butterfly Stroke Boys U-11 Event in CBSE National Swimming Championship.
Krishnaditya Singh secured 17th Rank in the 37th National Games held at Goa.
In the CBSE National Swimming Championship the school swimming team comprising Hriday Bhojwani, Paranjay Singh Choudhary, Divit Sharma, Parin Sharma and Medhansh Tyagi won the Bronze medal in the 4 x 50 metres Medley Relay.

CLAT Rank Holders - 2023

Three from the students’ batch of 2023-24 of Bhavan’s Vidyashram, Jaipur, secured remarkable positions in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT)-2023.

Lawn Tennis

Kushagra Jangid (Class 6) won the Gold Medal in the SFA Championship, 2023. He was Runner-Up in the U-14 Boys Open Tournament organised in the Grass field Club, Jaipur. His current ranking in the AITA Under-12 category is 233. Ashwin Chhillar was in the 6th position in the Wavin Asian Junior Ranking Tennis Championship organised by the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Gwalior Chambal Tennis Association. He won the AITA National Ranking Tournament C 57 under-16 (Doubles) held at Dream House Resort Tennis Academy, Jaipur, on November 20, 2023.

Chess Tournament

Uday Shekhar Sharma (Class 6) won a Gold Medal in the State Chess Tournament. He was also the winner at the District Tournament and was placed 11th in the Mukesh Memorial Open Rapid Chess Tournament 2023 which was organised by Radhe Foundation.

Table Tennis

Tushar Ramchandani (Class 8) stood 2nd in the Rajasthan State Ranking Table Tennis Championship 2023 organised by the Jaipur District Table Tennis Association in the Youth Boys U-13 Category. He stood 1st in the 67th SGFI State level Tennis Tournament organised at Badisadri. In the CBSE Cluster Table Tennis Tournament organised at Ajmer, the school team comprising Tushar Ramchandani, Samridh Bagda and Yuvan Bakiwala won a Gold Medal in the U-14 Category. In the U-17 category, the school team comprising Yash Joshi, Neil Ramchandani and Daksh Kala won a Silver Medal. Both the teams represented their state in the CBSE National Tournament also. In the individual event, Tushar Ramchandani won a Silver Medal in the U-14 category. Yash Joshi won a Bronze Medal in the U-17 category.

World Aids Day

On December 1, 2023, a multitude of activities took place at Bhavan’s Vidyashram in observance of World AIDS Day. One highlight was a Slogan Writing Event, where students created impactful slogans on AIDS to raise awareness about the disease.
Students of Class 11, in collaboration with the Community Outreach Club, played a pivotal role by organising the creation and distribution of red ribbons. These ribbons, symbolising support for AIDS patients, were distributed to teachers, who were kindly urged to display them as a visible demonstration of their solidarity with the AIDS awareness campaign.
In an effort to educate and inform people, an insightful talk on AIDS titled, ‘Breaking the Stigma: Embracing Positivity in the Face of AIDS’ was broadcasted on the school’s Spotify channel, Bhavan’s Vani. This initiative aimed to disseminate crucial information and encourage open dialogue about AIDS, fostering a more informed and compassionate school community.
In addition to these activities, intra-class quiz sessions were conducted across senior classes, providing an engaging platform for students to test their knowledge on AIDS-related topics. Furthermore, case studies were discussed, offering a practical and insightful perspective on the challenges faced by those affected by the disease.

‘Dharti Dhora Ri - Rhythms of Desert’

Jaipur Kendra, in collaboration with Infosys Foundation, organised a week-long cultural festival, ‘Dharti Dhora Ri—Rhythms of Desert’, from November 16 to 22, 2023 in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, KM Munshi Marg. The event, featuring folk art workshops, was inaugurated by Smt. Jayshree Periwal, offering immersive experience in traditional art forms.
Dr. Nagalaxmi Rao, the Joint Director Bhavan’s Bengaluru Kendra, and Ms. Asha Golecha, Chairperson, Infosys Cultural Outreach Programme, also attended the ceremony. The cultural evenings at Maharana Pratap Auditorium showcased Rajasthan’s diverse cultural landscape. It was graced by Shri K. G. Raghvan, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bengaluru Kendra, as the Chief Guest. The students of Vidyashram also presented scintillating dance and music performances.

Tanishka Srivastava, a talented student of Class 9, won a gold medal and a special award at the ABSS UNESCO Awards-2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. This outstanding achievement was the result of her participation in the 12th Cultural Olympiad of Performing Arts organised by Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrutik Sangh. Tanishka’s dedication and prowess in the performing arts are truly remarkable, highlighting her exceptional talent on an international platform.

Swimming Winners

1. Krishnaditya Singh, student of Std. 10 and Shri Amrish Sharma, the Swimming Coach of the school have been selected to represent Rajasthan in the National Games 2023, which will be organised by the Indian Olympic Association. 
2. Praniti Singh Choudhary is the first student of Vidyashram who has qualified for the Finals in three events in the Junior National Swimming Championship.
3. The Swimming Team won the Boys’ Championship, Girls Runner up and also the Overall Championship (Boys and Girls) in the 67th SGFI School State Swimming Championship in the Under-14 category. They bagged 16 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals and 2 Bronze medals. Dakshina Joshi was declared the best swimmer in the SGFI School State Swimming Championship (Girls Under-14 category).
4. In the 67th SGFI School State Swimming Championship, BVB Vidyashram Swimming Team won 19 Gold Medals, 7 Silver Medals and 3 Bronze Medals. Krishnaditya Singh, Sahil Gupta, Praniti Singh Choudhary and Enika Agrawal were declared the Best Swimmers of the State Swimming Championship. The Jaipur team won the prestigious ‘Winners’ Trophy’ in all the categories (Boys and Girls Under-17
and 19).

The students of Bhavan’s Vidyashram, KM Munshi Marg, Jaipur, bagged the first, third and fourth prize in a Quiz organised by the IAPT (Indian Association of Physics Teachers) on October 9, 2023. Yashneil Rawat (Category XII) and Arshia Jain (Category XI) illuminated the event by securing the First and the Third positions.
Aditya Vardhan Roy (12) and Monisha Bangar (12) also impressed the gathering by clinching the Fourth Position.
The renowned scholar, Padma Shri H C Verma and Professor Shri P.C. Deshmukh interacted and motivated the students. Many interesting scientific experiments were conducted by Smt. Pragya Nopany, the Experiential Learning Expert in Physics.

World Food Day

On the occasion of World Food Day, on October 16, 2023, different activities were conducted in Bhavan’s Vidyashram, Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, to raise awareness about the importance of equal access to food and water for everyone on the planet. Different activities like Potluck party, Collage-making, Cooking food without fire and Food trivia quiz were conducted for different classes in which the students participated actively.

World Habitat Day

On the occasion of World Habitat Day on October 2, 2023, Bhavan’s Vidyashram Pratap Nagar, Jaipur, organised a series of activities to educate and inspire students about the vital importance of habitats, the imminent threats they face, and the crucial need for conservation efforts.
Young students of Std. 1 to 5 undertook a creative journey by drawing their favourite animals and articulating five essential points about their habits and habitats. Students of Std. 6 to 8 participated in a vibrant poster-making activity centred around the theme, ‘Habitat Conservation and Its Importance’. The students of Std. 9 and 10 participated in activities that emphasised the fundamental right of all beings to adequate shelter and, more importantly, highlighted the shared responsibility we hold for the future of our habitats.

World Ozone Day

Bhavan Vidyashram Pratap Nagar celebrated World Ozone Day with a series of activities like Podcast Discussion, Poster Making Competition and Street Drama designed to raise awareness about the importance of the ozone layer and the urgent need to protect it. The event aimed to educate students and promote a sense of responsibility towards our environment and the ozone layer.

The cultural centre of Jaipur Kendra, Suruchi Kendra celebrated its annual day on August 23, 2023, in Maharana Pratap Auditorium.
This evening provided an opportunity to nearly 66 students enrolled with Suruchi Kendra for the weekend classes, to showcase their talent in different disciplines. A two-hour long cultural programme consisting of Vocal classical music, Kathak and Bharatanatyam dances, guitar, keyboard and drum performances were presented. More than 300 parents and guests attended the programme. The highlight of the programme was the orchestra performances by the instrumental music group of students who played a mash-up of popular English songs like ‘Senorita’ (by Shawn Mendes), ‘Bella Ciao’ and ‘Believer’. 
The Kathak and Bharatanatyam beginners group too presented the basics of their dance forms. Gayatri Kakroda gave a solo performance of Bharatanatyam and her grace and poise was appreciated by all.
In vocal music, the students presented different ragas like Raag Desh and Alankaar Gaan. The senior-most students presented Raag Miya Malhar.
The chief guest of the occasion was Shri Arun Kumar, a senior IAS officer and former Chief secretary, Government of Rajasthan.

Watermelon Day

Bhavan’s Balwadi, Pratap Nagar, celebrated Watermelon Day on August 2, 2023, to promote a sense of community and healthy eating habits among children. Students had the opportunity to taste the fruit and learn about its nutritional benefits.
A plethora of activities around the theme were conducted in different classes, from Nursery to Std. 2. Students enjoyed this activity and were able to make their own fractions using watermelon cut-outs and were also able to identify the types of fractions. Children also enjoyed reciting short rhymes on the watermelon.
Overall, it was a delightful event that not only brought joy to the students but also educated them about the health benefits of watermelons.
