Pathanamthitta Kendra
Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Pathanamthitta, Library and Language department organised various programmes as a part of the Reading Month celebration.
Mass run for kids, wearing letter caps, Akshara udyanam etc. were organised. Quiz and essay writing competitions were also conducted. Two students, Ankita Ajay of Class 9 and Aaliya Dipu of Class 7, launched two books published by them.
Children of junior classes enthusiastically participated in the reading day programme. A marathon with the theme, Reading for Development was also held on July 13, 2023 in which students from Class 7 and 9 participated actively. The children promoted reading using placards and slogans.

World Environment Day was celebrated at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Variyapuram, on June 5, 2023. Saplings were planted in the campus and distributed for the students of Std. 11 and 12. The Karshakasree Award-winner Sri T K Krishnadas was honoured with a 'Ponnada' (shawl).
A vegetable garden was inaugurated at the campus.

In order to motivate children and to enhance their interest in sports, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta, conducted a summer vacation camp at the school from April 17 to May 17, 2023.
A total of 24 students participated in the camp. Every day, after practising skills, the students were encouraged to play too. All the students were very active and happy to be a part of this camp.

In order to reduce the stress due to routine studies and examinations, BVM Pathanamthitta organised a 12-day camp for students.
Kaliyarangu season 5 was organised in Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Variyapuram, from March 23 to April 5. The camp lasted for 12 days in which 24 students participated in art forms like creative art, music, dance, yoga, drawing, painting, storytelling and drama. Along with this, a personality development class and a non-fire cooking class were also introduced to children.
The Closing ceremony of Kaliyarangu season 5 was inaugurated by Sri Umesh Poomkavu on April 5, 2023, in the midst of various dignitaries. Prizes and certificates were distributed to the students for their participation. It was followed by the art form presentation by the students.

P.I. Sherief Mohammed addressed the Ramakrishna Mission function in Jashore district, Bangladesh, with other Bangladesh dignitaries, Nabil Ahmed (Member of Parliament) and Mayor Haider Gani Khan Polash. He also had a separate conversation with the district collector, Mohammed Tamijul Islam Khan of Bangladesh civil service on various development projects including information technology.

In order to enhance the scientific temper and creativity among the students, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta hosted its annual Science and Art Exhibition entitled Gallant Expo 2023 on February 28, 2023, the National Science Day. All the departments including Science, Maths, English, Hindi, Malayalam and Social Science, participated. The working science models were a major attraction. There were skits, tableaus and dance programmes exhibited by the English department. The Malayalam department exhibited the culture and heritage of Kerala. A pet show and food fest were other major attractions.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Pathanamthitta participated in the Mathrubhumi International Book Fair held at Kanakakunnu Palace, Trivandrum.

Sri P. I. Sherief Mohammed being honoured with ponnada and memento by the Hon. Governor of Goa, Sri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai in a function at Cochin. Sri Gururagna Jnana Tapaswi of Santhigiri Ashram, Pothencode, is also seen. The governor appreciated the contributions of Sri Sherief Mohammed in the social service sector.

The National Energy Conservation Day was celebrated at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta, on December 14, 2022 by the science department of the school. An Energy Challenge Badge designed by the teachers was distributed to spread the message of the importance of energy conservation in every walk of life. Students took an oath to avoid excessive and extravagant usage of energy. To recognise and encourage the innovative minds of students, a plethora of events such as speech, poster making competition, skit, mime, dance and rally were conducted.

District Legal Services Authority, Pathanamthitta, conducted a legal awareness programme named 'Campus to Community' for empowering teens on November 9, 2022 at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Pathanamthitta Kendra. The programme was headed by Shri Devan K. Menon (Sub Judge, Secretary of DLSA) The session was an eyeopener to the teens as it dealt with legal terms and students got an opportunity to interact with Shri Devan and clarify their doubts. The session was enlightening for the young minds, thanks to the efforts of the DLSA.
