Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Kulapathi KM Munshi Memorial Vidya Mandir started in Chettikulangara in 1986 and continues its mission in Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram since 2007. The school campus is functioning in the premises of the Bhavan's Administrative Office, Thiruvananthapuram Kendra. The school offers Pre-KG, KG and Class-I. Smart kindergarten is the active curriculum followed giving importance on early childhood care and education. School has separate whatsapp group for each class and an effective SMS system for communication with parents.
