In 1975, on the request of (now late) Brig MK Rao, a retired EME Officer of the Army, Bhoodan Yagna Board donated 2 acres of land to the then Ramakrishna Seva Samithi to construct a hospital.
Bhavan's Sarada Devi Hospital is now 30 bedded Multi-Specialty Hospital. This is the only one hospital of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the entire country.
