With the aim of fulfilling the Bhavan's cherished goal of spreading education throughout the length and breadth of our country, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Eroor was established in July 1989. Located far from the madding crowd, the school nestles amidst the serene and tranquil neighbourhood of Kunnara in Tripunithura. The school that began with Kindergarten and Std I, has grown in leaps and bounds and now has classes from Std I to XII with various options at the Higher Secondary level. This academic year, Pre-KG classes have also been introduced. 2450 students, 99 teachers and 25 non-teaching staff work in union, raising the school to glorious heights.

The school is also equipped with a well-functioning Resource Room with trained Special Educators and a Counsellor.
The school introduced the Senior Division of 21(K) NCC Battalion, Ernakulam in the campus in 2013. The cadets attend the NCC camp every year and they get a chance to write the B Certificate Examination.
The school is a proud recipient of the grant given by the Governemnt of India to set Atal Tinkering Lab in its premises. ATL was set in BVM Eroor in 2020 with the objective to foster curiosity, creativity, imagination in young minds.
Awakened Citizen Programme(ACP) and Satthwa are integrated along with the core subjects to impart value education in students.
Co-Scholastic subjects like Physical Education (PE), Work Experience, Yoga, Karate, Drawing, Dance, Music, Tabla, Keyboard, Mridangam, Violin etc. are introduced at the primary level to bring out the innate talent of our students.
The school is an annexe for Bhavan's Kala Bharati providing Diploma courses offered by Bharat Sevak Samaj(BSS) to promote talent in various performing arts.
