Bhavan's Mumbadevi Adarsh Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya (Oriental College) was established in 1939. It is a leading center for higher studies in Sanskrit, Shastras, Vedic rituals and astrology. Free tuitions, monthly scholarships and boarding and lodging facility are given to students.
Inculcates Sanskrit Education in Traditional-way alongwith modern subject.
Academic Session
The academic session of the Mahavidyalaya runs generally as the senior colleges of Mumbai. Admission opens on June 10th and generally new admissions are accepted subject to availability of seats, upto August end.
Timing : 11.30 a.m. to 4.15 p.m. on week days.

Hostel Facilities
Free lodging and boarding to 28 talented students at Bhavan's Andheri Campus, Munshi Nagar, Mumbai.
And
Only lodging facility to 4 students at Babulnath Temple.
The seats in the hostel are alloted after passing tests given by a board of teachers of the Mahavidyalaya in the first week of the opening of the Mahavidyalaya.

Monthly scholarships ranging from Rs. 20/- to Rs. 150/-
