The College started in July 1968 with B.Sc. courses in Science. Later on, M.Sc. course in Mathematics and Degree courses in Arts were added. It is permanently affiliated to Kanpur University. During the report period, the College also got affiliation in M.A. (Science) and in M.Sc. (Botany).
