Panchkula Kendra

The Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula School celebrated Medha Manyata on May 16, 2026 with great splendour and enthusiasm, honouring the academic brilliance of its meritorious students of classes III -V during the academic session of 2025-26.
The occasion marked the felicitation of students by the honourable Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Managing Committee, Panchkula, Shri A. N. Mathur, Former-Chief Secretary, Haryana and esteemed members of the management committee. The students had secured more than 90% marks for three consecutive years, exemplifying unwavering dedication, perseverance, and excellence. Academic toppers from Classes III to V were conferred with cash prizes and citations in recognition of their outstanding performance.
The cultural segment of the programme added grace and grandeur to the celebration. The highlight of the event was an exquisite Bharatanatyam performance by the students of Class V. Around fifty students presented Hanuman Chalisa with remarkable poise and devotion, beautifully portraying the strength, humility, devotion and unwavering faith of Lord Hanuman. Equally enchanting was the melodious rendition of Raag Bhupali by the young students of Classes III and IV.
JEE Advanced 2026

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula celebrates outstanding success in JEE Advanced 2026 with an exceptional performance of the students. Leading the achievers is Yajat Singhal, who secured an impressive All India Rank (AIR) 21, placing him among the top performers in the country and he was also Haryana and tricity topper as well. Demonstrating the school’s strong academic culture and commitment to excellence, Arnav Gandhi achieved AIR 36, while Niskarsh Verma secured AIR 150. Adding to this remarkable success, Om Garg secured a prestigious AIR 236 while Rishabh Jain earned AIR 705. The outstanding achievements of these students reflect their dedication, perseverance, and hard work, supported by the guidance of their teachers and the unwavering encouragement of their parents.
Panchkula Kendra

A series of insightful sessions on emotional well-being was conducted on April 16, 2026 at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, focusing on both students and educators.
The day began with an engaging session for students of Classes 8 and 9 on ‘Emotional Regulation and Stress Reset’, where practical techniques were shared to help students understand and manage their emotions, especially during academic and social pressures.
This was followed by a session for teachers on ‘Emotional Mastery for Educators’, aimed at enhancing emotional awareness, resilience, and effective classroom engagement.
The sessions were facilitated by renowned speakers Mr. Anil Bammi and Ms. Monika Bammi, bringing with them decades of experience
in mindset and emotional intelligence. The initiative was organised by Mr. Ankur Malhotra, Founder Director of TRINITi.
Awareness Drive on Menstrual Hygiene

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, organised a meaningful awareness drive on menstrual hygiene, led by its dedicated NSS volunteers, for the underprivileged students of the evening school. The initiative aimed at spreading awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding menstrual health.
To further support the cause, the volunteers distributed sanitary pads among the students and guided them on their proper usage and disposal. The interactive session created a comfortable environment where students could ask questions and clarify their doubts without hesitation.
Farewell for Batch 2026

The campus of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, resonated with emotion, laughter, and cherished memories as the school bid a heartfelt farewell to its outgoing Class XII batch under the evocative theme ‘Waves and Wishes’. The event held on April 18, 2026, celebrated the students’ journey, their accomplishments, and the lasting bonds that they have forged over the years.
Organised with great enthusiasm by the students of Class XI, the event beautifully blended nostalgia with celebration. The event commenced with a formal welcome, followed by a vibrant line-up of cultural performances that rekindled fond memories of school life. The outgoing students shared heartfelt speeches, reminiscing about their experiences while expressing gratitude towards their alma mater and extending good wishes to their juniors.
The event culminated in a series of felicitation awards. The coveted titles of Mr. Bhavan and Ms. Bhavan were awarded to Yuvraj Singh and Mannat Sangha, respectively.
Earth Day

The NSS volunteers of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula, held a ‘Plant Donation Drive’ on the occasion of ‘Earth Day’. The drive was conducted on April 22, 2026 with the goal of promoting greenery, raising environmental awareness and providing plants to homes and public spheres. The drive saw enthusiastic participation from the students as they brought their own saplings for the donation. Over 215 plants were collected and distributed.
World Book Day

World Book Day was celebrated at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, with great zeal and enthusiasm, fostering a deep appreciation for reading among students. The NSS volunteers enthusiastically presented reviews of the latest books of their choice, showcasing a wide range of genres and inspiring their peers to explore the world of literature.
A variety of engaging activities were organised, including bookmark making, storytelling sessions, slogan writing and book review writing. One of the highlights was the observance of the ‘Drop Everything and Read’ (DEAR) time, during which both students and staff members paused their routine tasks and immersed themselves in reading.
The activities aimed to cultivate a lifelong love for books and emphasise the importance of reading in personal growth.
Panchkula Kendra
On March 20, 2026, a vibrant and child-friendly play park for Pre-Primary and Primary students was inaugurated at Bhavan’s Bhavan Vidyalaya Panchkula has once again reaffirmed its stature as a centre of academic excellence, with its students delivering outstanding results in the Class X board examinations.
Key Highlights of the Results:
* Three students scored 498/500 marks.
* Among the 226 students, 6 students scored 99% and above, 23 students achieved a score of 98% and above whereas, 77 students surpassed the remarkable milestone of 95% and above, 145 students crossed the 90 % and above in aggregate scores.
* A remarkable 100 % pass rate is a testament to the dedication and commitment of both the students and faculty.
A remarkable number of perfect scores were achieved across subjects: 13 in English; 3 in Science, 4 in Social Science; 2 in Mathematics; 8 in Punjabi; 9 in Sanskrit, 33 Information Technology (IT), and 17 in Financial Market Management (FMM) , 1 in FP.
Panchkula Kendra

CBSE organised a consultative session at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, to deliberate on key issues pertaining to the evaluation of Class X and Class XII answer scripts. The session was presided over by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Regional Officer, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Panchkula. The session witnessed the participation of 12 Chief Nodal Supervisors (CNS) and 81 Head Examiners (HEs) involved in the ongoing evaluation process. The Regional Officer addressed the gathering and highlighted various initiatives undertaken by CBSE to strengthen the capacity of evaluators and ensure their continuous orientation with evolving assessment practices and protocols. He highlighted CBSE’s continuous effort to enhance efficiency and transparency by introducing the On-Screen Marking (0SM) for the evaluation of Class XII answer books in order to eliminate totalling errors, automated coordination, reducing manual intervention and faster evaluation with wider teacher participation. This enriching session was followed by CNS and HEs getting the redressal of their queries related to the evaluation process.
Investiture Ceremony

On March 19, 2026, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula organised an Investiture Ceremony, reflecting the school’s dedication to fostering leadership and excellence among students. The school Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur conferred badges upon the School Core along with the House Council members, marking the start of their leadership roles in upholding the institution’s values. The pledge was administered by the School Core, as the council members solemnly committed themselves to their duties and responsibilities.
Academic Carnival

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula organised the Academic Carnival ‘Little Steps, Big Dreams’ on March 19-20, 2026 for Grade 1 and Grade 2. The event was organised to commemorate the successful closing of the academic session 2025–2026. It provided a platform for students to showcase their learning, skills, and talents through engaging activities from various subjects.
The event reflected the spirit of ‘Bhavanotsav – a celebration of curriculum and learning’, where fun games, creative presentations, and skill-based activities highlighted the talent and confidence of young learners. Parents enthusiastically participated alongside their children, making the experience joyful and meaningful. Organised as a Parent–School Connect initiative, the event reinforced Bhavan Vidyalaya’s commitment to providing a comprehensive and engaging educational experience. The event stands as a significant milestone in the school’s academic calendar.

Ms. Shilpy, the Art Teacher at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, was conferred with the Indian Arts Award 2026 by the Indian Literature & Arts Society in recognition of her contribution to Visual Arts—Digital Painting. The award was announced at a ceremony held in Bengaluru.
She was recognised for her work in the field of digital art, including her contribution to the book ‘Mastering Digital Art’ and her collection of digital paintings that reflect creativity and contemporary artistic expression. Through her engagement with digital art, Ms. Shilpy has also encouraged students to explore modern artistic mediums and develop their creative abilities. Her work reflects the growing integration of technology with art education.
FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula hosted the trials for the FIG Acrobatic Gymnastics World Cup in collaboration with the Chandigarh Gymnastics Association as part of the selection process for the upcoming World Cup to be held in Burgas, Bulgaria.
The event saw participation from 13 teams, with gymnasts demonstrating exceptional balance, coordination, and athletic skill.
The trials were conducted in the presence of noted members of the gymnastics fraternity, including Kalpana Debnath, G. S. Bawa, K. R. Sharma. N. Sashi, Secretary of the Association, and Deepak Chaudhary, President of the Association were also present.
National Green School Ranking Awardee 2025

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula was conferred the GEP Green School Badge in recognition of its distinction as a National Green School Ranking Awardee 2025.
The recognition follows a comprehensive evaluation of the School’s greening education practices aligned with the UNESCO Green School Quality Standards under the Greening Education Partnership (GEP). The badge has been formally conferred by Green Mentors. The award was presented during the 9th NYC Green School Conference 2025, convened alongside the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly and Climate Week NYC at Cornell University, New York, United States.
This global recognition reaffirms Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula’s sustained commitment to embedding sustainability within its leadership practices, curriculum, campus initiatives, and community engagement, thereby nurturing environmentally responsible and globally conscious learners.
CBSE Art Integration Workshop

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula successfully hosted a one-day workshop on Art Integration on January 31, 2026, under the aegis of CBSE. The workshop featured esteemed resource persons, Mr. Jeesu Jaskanwar Singh, Assistant Professor in Education, Punjab University, Chandigarh and Ms. Amandeep, Coordinator, Army Public School. Mr. Singh, a zoologist and wildlife photographer with extensive experience, delivered a thought-provoking session on developing a mindset to familiarise oneself with art experiences as a medium for exploring creative expressions. His practical insights and relatable examples resonated strongly with the audience.
Ms. Amandeep, a renowned emotional health educationist, shared valuable perspectives on the impact of art as a pedagogical tool for holistic learning of children. She emphasised the importance of art integration in education.

Three Panchkula Bhavanites have etched a glorious chapter in the school’s sporting history by clinching a remarkable five medals at the prestigious 10th Snowshoe National Championships, held in the breathtaking valley of Sonmarg from February 13-15, 2026. Lakshita shone brilliantly with three Silver Medals in the 1500m, 800m and Relay Race events, while Vedika Sharma added a Silver Medal in the Relay Race and Hardik Utkarsh secured a Bronze Medal in the same event. Their inspiring accomplishment stands as a testament to relentless hard work and the steadfast guidance of their mentors.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, observed the 77th Republic Day of India on January 26, 2026, with a spirit of dignity, unity, and national pride. The school actively participated in the Republic Day Parade held at the Parade Ground, Sector 5, Panchkula, where the NCC cadets demonstrated commendable discipline, precision, and coordination. The school’s dance troupe also presented a well-choreographed patriotic performance, which was appreciated by the audience.
‘A’ Certificate Examination

The ‘A’ Certificate Examination of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) was successfully conducted at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula. A total of 483 NCC cadets appeared in the examination, reflecting enthusiastic participation and disciplined conduct. The examination was organised as per the directions of Colonel Samit Navani, Commanding Officer, 2 Haryana Battalion NCC, Ambala Cantt, and was conducted under the supervision of Colonel Niteesh Kumar, Administrative Officer, 10 Haryana Battalion NCC, Kurukshetra. Several NCC officers and caretakers were present to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.

The 4th Kulwant Singh Literary Festival was held in splendid grandeur at Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula from December 19–20, 2025. This festival was a unique confluence of literature, art and culture.
Apart from illuminating talks by experts, workshops on calligraphy, caricature art, idea-to-writing, script writing, literary podcasting, journalism and creative writing provided new wings to creativity. The Scholastic Book Fair further enhanced the charm of the festival, where the fragrance of words and stories attracted readers of all ages. This edition of the Kulwant Singh Literary Festival not only illuminated minds with the light of ideas, but also left an indelible mark of creativity and knowledge. The primary objective of the activities organised over these two days was to foster creativity, self-confidence, leadership skills and moral values among students in the academic sphere. The literary festival emerged as a vibrant platform for the exchange of knowledge.

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, hosted the CBSE Regional Level Science Exhibition–2025 on November 11 and 12 with great enthusiasm and grandeur. A total of 165 innovative and creative projects were presented by talented students from various schools across the region. The exhibition inaugurated by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Regional Officer, CBSE Panchkula showcased projects under diverse themes such as Green Energy, Emerging Technology, Health and Hygiene, Sustainable Agriculture, Recreational Mathematical Modelling, Water Conservation and Management, Waste Management, and Alternatives to Plastic.
LAAM EXPORAMA 2025

Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula hosted the much anticipated LAAM EXPORAMA 2025, a commemorative event dedicated in the fond memory of its founder Vice Chairman Shri Lala Amarnath Aggarwal on November 20–21, 2025 in its premises. The event is an acclamation to the farsighted dream of visionary and compassionate leader Shri Lala Amarnath Aggarwal and hence offers an array of activities designed to unleash the inherent potential and creative genius of young scholars. More than 450 students of 22 schools of tricity participated in the gala event promoting healthy competitive spirit among the participants. The highlight of the event was a motivational talk by keynote speakers: Mr. Pramod Sharma, Founder, Yuvsatta, an alumnus of the Department of Gandhian & Peace Studies, Punjab University, Chandigarh and Tapasya Sharma, an ardent nature lover and the initiator of Save River Ghaggar Campaign in Panchkula district.
The winners were awarded with trophies and certificates by the family members of Sh. Lala Amarnath Aggarwal. The Running trophy was bagged by Amravati Vidyalaya, Pinjore.
Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev

To promote the spirit of universal brotherhood and the welfare of all, Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula celebrated the 556th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji with deep devotion on November 22, 2025 in the school premises. Principal Mrs. Gulshan Kaur commenced the sacred observance by leading the Path of Shri Sukhmani Sahib, joined by the teaching and non-teaching staff. The school then resonated with soulful Shabad Gayan presented by the music teachers, filling the atmosphere with divine harmony.

Vedika Sharma, a Class 9 student of Bhavan Vidyalaya, represented India at the 14th Acrobatics Gymnastics Championship.
Vedika’s journey to the international arena follows her remarkable Bronze Medal win at the National Gymnastics Championship, a feat that earned her selection to the India Camp. Guided by her dedicated coach, Mr. Gaurav, Vedika displayed exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship on the Asian stage. Although she narrowly missed a podium finish, her performance won appreciation and brought immense pride to her school and the country.
